410 Stainless Bar

Grade 410 stainless bar is officially a stainless steel but characteristically the material is actually a compromise of high carbon steel (which promotes wear resistance) and chromium stainless steel (which promotes corrosion resistance) and is used in the manufacture of highly stressed parts for a variety of industries including petrochemical, oil & gas, automotive and power generation.

Grade 410 stainless steel is a hardenable, straight-chromium stainless steel which combines the superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels.
