This role is the perfect opportunity for a person that has the ambition to develop their career in a long-established, dynamic and progressive company. Impact Ireland (Metals N.I.) LTD has a proven track record providing the Northern Ireland and UK markets with high-quality Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys, Aluminium, Engineering Plastics and Engineering Steels. As part of a larger group with facilities in Northern Ireland, Dublin and Cork, the company benefits from group purchasing and solid supply lines. With divisions focused on both the domestic and international markets, the successful candidate will gain experience on the job and further training as and when required.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for placing, coordinating and booking in purchase orders, resolving issues and late deliveries, assisting the sales office with purchase orders, and assisting the despatch office with any duties as required.
This is a full-time position with 29 days holiday, including bank holidays. The hours are 8.30 am – 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Friday (38 hour week). There is a requirement to work 39 hours one week out of every four (to 5.30 pm finish Monday to Thursday) to cover the department. The company have a flexi-time scheme in place. The extra one hour worked will be given as time in lieu on another date.
There is a six month probation period, and the position is available for an immediate start.
